Undeterred by adversity, he transformed his hardship into motivation, channeling his resilience and entrepreneurial spirit into a thriving clothing business across Jamaica, all while nurturing his passion for music. A testament to his dedication, Lewis's talent garnered widespread acclaim when he triumphed in the prestigious Tastee Talent Contest, securing multiple awards. This recognition paved the way for a scholarship to the esteemed Edna Manley College for the Visual and Performing Arts (EMCVPA) in 2003, where he refined his musical prowess through rigorous training in music and voice. Inspired by the legendary Bounty Killer, Lewis made his mark on the music scene with his debut song, "Sunshine," featuring Jah Shi, at the age of 19. Since then, he has graced some of Jamaica's most illustrious stages, from Sting to Montego Bay Jerk Festival, captivating audiences with his electrifying performances. While music remains his primary passion, Lewis's creative journey took a new turn with the exploration of comedy, collaborating with industry luminaries Nigel Morgan and Apache Chief as part of the dynamic duo Apache Chief and Sarge. Following the passing of Apache Chief in 2013, Lewis, formerly known as Sarge, embarked on a new chapter in Canada, where he continues to push artistic boundaries while preserving Apache Chief's legacy through comedic skits with Apache Chief's son, Apache Kid. gyalediot@gmail.com 403-614-1259 GYAL EDIOT As an independent artist, Lewis has garnered international acclaim with hit songs like "Hold Mi," produced by Diet Monkey Entertainment, which has garnered over 200K views on YouTube and reached the top 5 on Jamaica's top 20 countdown.
